The Project for Human Resource Development Scholarship by Japanese Grant Aid (JDS) was launched in Nepal in 2015. Up to the present. Total of 209 Fellows have been dispatched to Japan.

JDS is now calling applications for the academic year 2026-2027. The maximum number of master’s scholars is 20 per year.
